I just bought a 65 with Great Bend loader. All the gauges where broke and I just put the new oil gauge in and it is reading 25 pounds. Is this good? Bad? Ok?

Any one now the Napa oil filter #? The PS filter was a Napa 1653.

Also, should I replace the hydraulic filter/screen? Do I have to remove the cover under the seat to get at it?

Per the Engine Manual the normal operating range is 20 to 30 PSI oil pressure at 1800 rpm. the min acceptable oil pressure is 7 psi at 450 RPM. Thus, your oil pressure is fine.

NAPA has a cross reference list so that they can give you the correct filter. I do not have down the number.

The hydraulic filter screen can be replaced fron the inspection ports on either side of the transmission housing. should only need replacing if damaged. Note not all pumps have these screens.

Note this assumes a G176 Gas engine.

Thank you. "Engine Manual"? I am looking to buy a set of manual for the tractor as I like to fix things my self. I have ordered the MF-201 from TSC waiting for it to come in. I see on the web (ytmag.com) there is a Service (356p.), Parts (425p) , and Operators (79p.) available. Did you get the number from one of them?

The tractor also is leaking oil at the pan. I have tightened up the bolts as most where loose and it stopped 95% of the problem, but there is still a small leak. If I replace the gasket can/should I also replace the pump from below? Can I replace the gasket by just removing the bolts dropping the pan and re-assemble with out supporting anything as the engine is the frame? Or is more support/steps needed?

Based on your oil pressure you do not need to replace or rebuild. The pan will come off with out need to suppor rest of engine. Though I have hear that the pan is heavy to put back in place, thus a wheeled jack is handy.
