I am working on a MH Pony with a N-62 Continental engine. Tractor is missing on two cylinders so decided to adjust valves. Pulled off side cover and found that some parts are missing on the exh. valves. According to the parts and service manual there is some type of cap on the end of the exhaust valve stem that contacts the tappet adjusting screw. These caps are missing. The tappet adjusting screw is now contacting the spring retainer cap and I know this is not correct. Does anyone know where to purchase these caps? Are these caps held on by some type of roll pin. The parts book is not clear to me.

Thanks for any help Curtis Elliott

How hard do you work the tractor? Those caps are old style roto caps. That is an options. Send me a phone number. J.
