Does anyone out there have a gas gauge and sending unitl that will fit a MF40? I have a Backhoe, 197???? the system quit working. I don't know which one is broken, any ideas how to check the guage or the sender to see which one is broken? Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi Rick, you can test the gauge by grounding the wire at the sending unit, the gauge should go to full when you do that, if it does then the sender is bad, if not it could be a bunch of things, like the wire from gauge to sender, no power to the gauge from the ignition switch, bad gauge, if you need a sender Carquest has a universial one that worked real good in my 202, it was a bolt in deal, good luck!
