massey 44 carb adjustment

i picked up a 44 and had to replace the float right away ,cleaned out the carb and would like to know the starting adjustments for the needle under the bowl and im guessing 1.5 out on the top.thank you.

My book shows for a zenith 62AJX9 carburetor, idle screw open about 1 turn and the main jet open about 3 turns with a float setting of 1 5/8.

In the carburetor section of this book, for a Zenith 62 series carburetor it calls for a float setting of 1 39/64, Fuel level 29/32, idle screw open 1 turn, Main jet open 2 turns.
