Our 102 came to the farm on saturday, and this serial has me scratching my head.

The serial is 362524. The serial page does not mention anything about it. Closest one I can get is a '46 101.

The serial number list shows 101 senior. However, here in Canada they were sold as 102 GS or GRC Seniors. They are the same tractor. They also sold distillate tractors at the same time. They were called just 102 senior. The G implies gasoline. S equals standard tread.

Yep, 1946 101 Senior Standard. They called the later 101's export models 102's and used 102 decals, but it more than likely has the F226 in it. The earlier 102's were the distillate models with a 244 cu. inch Continental.

The book I have shows it as a 1946 101 senior. Two questions-Does it have a six cylinder engine. Are there notches in the u-frame at the front for mounting different attachments.

Yes, It has the Continential F226 engine. The tractor is a wheatland model, and I don't recall any notches on the frame... I'll doublecheck tomorrow on that.
