I have acquired a MF 275 very used and abused. I need to replace the seals for the Power steering Cylinder but cannot seem to find a match for the number stamped on the cylinder 1605121M92 50 5 6. Can any help point me in the right direction. I have been looking online now for 4hrs and am only more confused than when I started. How Do I know if I have an orbital steering or what?

Hello,
My Bepco Tractor Parts book here in the UK tells me that your cylinder 1605 121 M92 is fitted to a MF 275, two wheel drive with hydrostatic steering aswell as numerous other models.
Bepco parts are readily available in the UK and Europe and as far as I know also in the States. You would have to do a search to find the US head office and your nearest Bepco dealer.
The book gives the following information;
Seal kit, original MF number 1606 890 M91 .. .. Bepco part number 30/585-4

On mechanical or assisted steering you will have a steering rod running alongside the engine.
On hydrostatic you do not have this.
Hope this helps

I checked the Mills Fleet Farm parts catalog and they have a P-steering cylinder seal kit for a 275, also fits about ten other models, (Replaces 1810437M91), for 20 some bucks. Could not see anything closer to your part number.
