Hi, I have a 71 MF Ski Whiz snowmobile. I need headlights for it and I think that they may be the same as used on massey tractors or garden tractors. They are round sealed beams, about 4 1/2" dia with two screw terminals. They are 12 volt 35 watt i believe and they have smooth finished lens in them (not rippled) Any info would be greatly appreciate.

The 12 Volt 4 1/2 replacement lights are very common. You can go to an auto parts store and get them to order them. GE or Sylvania. Or you can go to a tractor store and pick them up. I just ordered two bulds, cost 7.00 each from the tractor store. All are about the same cost. Also, if you want, look at the tractor parts section on this board and search for lights, it will give you a dealer to order from. Farm and Country tractor parts have them in their catalog.

I Ordered headlights for my 1969 300s Ski Whiz Snowmobile last year. They were were smooth glass on the outside but had a patern under the glass. AGCO Part # 523240M1. They are a GE 4415 SAE F 79 Light, Made in USA.
Hope this helps!
George
