Ive been a Massey fan for years and have a few questions. First when did Massey start using the Perkins diesel, and did Massey Harris ever use the perkins ? Also did some of the European or canadian 135s have a 48 hp rating ? Thanks.

Lou, The Massey Harris 744 used a Perkins 6 cyl
46 HP 288 ci model P6. This was the British
version built from 1948-1954. A 745 came out in
1954 with a 4 cyl Perkins and built to 1958. In
the USA no perkins was used in the Massey Harris.
