OK, things are going well with this project. I took a couple of weeks off for vacation. Now, my question: I can find nothing in the I&T repair manual for the torque on the crankshaft pulley bolt. It is a Z145 Continental Gas Engine.

Thanks for any help, I'll be back with more questions.

Tom, This is also missing in the MF manual. This
question has come up before. I found it once but
can not find it again. About any other Continental
engine that is close is 150 ft lbs. Chuck

Chuck, Thanks for the reply. I thought that I may have missed something in the manual. Guess it isn't too important. I have it torqued to 120 ft. pounds. Most automotive crank bolts "at least the old Pontiacs that I have" call for 85.
#.

My radiator is ready. At last I hope to get this ole gal fired up and let it run for an hour, so I can retorque everything and put the final coat of paint on. The comes the sheet metal and I'm no body man, but will learn something.
