There was a small rodeo going on where I live in west central Wisconsin. I just got there when my dad told me to come over by him. My great uncle was talking to my dad and he said to me, "I've got a deal for you. You wanna buy a 1951 Massey harris 44." I said sure, but how much. he said, "One dollar." I kind of looked at him wierdly and he said, "just kidding, you can have it." I guess it belonged to my great grandpa and he was going to fix it up but he doesnt have the time. He also said that its in rough shape, but I dont care. Just restoring a tractor my great grandpa and grandpa used to farm with will be fun and meaning full. I'm not much of a massey guy, Im more of a farmall type, so i will be asking a lot of questions once I get the tractor. That wont be for a couple more weeks though since he lives about 3 and a half hours away from me. He only comes up about twice a month. My aunt and him are fixing up my great grandparents house, which is where the tractor is located, about 15 minutes away from me, but he wants to help us load it up. The tractor doesnt run so i dont know how we are going to get it on the trailer. I will be sure to post pitures once we get it in a couple of weeks. I would like to say thank you to Roger, my great uncle, for giving me a tractor that means so much to me.

Just finished rebuilding my 1951 44 this spring! It has factory wide front! Have fun they are good old tractors! Also have a 1949 Pony I finished this spring, both are in here in the tractor photos sections.
