Looking for the weight of a MF-40 Tractor and also year of manufacturer. Serial Number is 9A73382.

The weight of the mf 40 is 3805lbs with manual shuttle 3700 lbs with instant reverse. add 760 lbs for the loader, and if you have a backhoe it would be another 2420 lbs

You can look at Big Dean's sight and cross reference you serial number there. Just look up "Big Dean Massey Ferguson" on google and you will see it.

Do you have an mf 40 or are looking at one? I am currently rebuilding the perkins diesel in mine.

Those numbers are straight out of my massey manual.

I just purchased a used MF-40. The machine needs some TLC. It has a bucket and back hoe. I am now looking for a service manual for it. The tractor was delivered this afternoon. The tractor runs but needs work. Thanks for the info..Greatly appreciate it.
