MF#3,12,21 all use the same Knotters and timing. Get a manual from the MF dealer and follow the instructions: I have had great luck by using the minimum settings: example if it says 3/32 to 1/8 shot for the smaller number. Most of the balers I have worked on are so worn, that the tolerance needs to be tighter. Sorry I could not get you the excate information, My manual is with the baler in the field. One more thing I would recommend turning the baler by hand 1/4 turn or less through out the adjustments: It makes it easier to see where things are not lining up correctly. Key on the opening in the needle as the points are usually different from wear or casting. I like to use the top of the opening as my reference point. Good Luck and take your time.

Manuals are cheaper than needles. See if your MF dealer can order you an Operator Manual and a Parts Manual. Tom
