Got a 1961 MF35 w/Perkins A3.152....tractor has been in good working order for the last 5 years....recently I started having problems with the engine going out of control after about 30min of use....the trottle will go way up and the engins races and I cannot control....it eventually after about 10 seconds of this will shut down.....I start it back up and it will do the same thing right away....if I wait till the next day I will get about 30min of use then it starts this wild bull ride crap again....I have had the injectors rebuild / calibrated and the same thing happens....any ideas on a problem fix or experiences would be appreciated.

I believe that a possibility exists that the return line is plugged which causes back pressure in the injection pump and governor and causes the governor to open up the throttle. Another possibility is the governor in the injection pump which has some phenolic parts that break down over time. This can cause some racing as well but I'd try to find out if you have excess backpressure in the retun line. After the engine begins it's problem after 30 minutes, just loosen the return line from the pump and see if that cures the problem.

And if its like the pump used on new generation Deere tractors, its pieces of that phenolic governor ring that will be plugging the fuel return line.

Is the governor sticking? Not sure about the diesel, but on the gas the governor controls the throttle and the lever only places preload on the throttle spring. The governor has the final say no matter what the operator intends. Check it out?
