I have a chance to buy an 1155 V8. It has not been run for 2 1/2 yrs, but I but new batteries in and it fired up after several tries. It comes with duals, 24 ft disc, and a 6 bottom plow. Asking $20,000. Is this a good buy? The hole in the drawbar is not worn much which indicates to me it hasn't been over worked. The tach is not working, but is showing 2423 hrs. I need your opinion??? Thanks in advance.

Does a MF 1155 have a 540 PTO or 1000 PTO

It depends. I'm thinking somewhere in the $12,000 to $15,000 range. This would depend on the condition of the tractor and equipment. You can run into a lot of money replacing blades and bearings on a disc that big. Plow parts are not too expensive.You could check with some of the equipment locating services to find the prices on those items and go from there. David
