is the 3 point lift quadrantsuppose to to work in reverse to a ford tractor or any other tractor?
Left lift lever on the quadrant ( next to the operators right leg)lo pressure, high pressure, transport and up. Right quad has draft control. Using the lift lever in low/high pressure- does it ruin the pump. with lift lever in up position cant get the implements to drop.

Hello,
You have an extended quadrant with Pressure Control. In the forward section PC alows you to vary the pressure from approximately 500 psi to the maximum pressure. This was designed originally to be used with a PC coupler which was a means of transfering weight from the trailer drawbar to the tractor axle to increase traction. Great idea but 4WD came along and made it just about redundant. You have Position Control in the rear section of the quadrant, takes a bit of getting used to.
If you have an implement raised and move the lever in the Pressure Control quadrant, as soon as the pressure required to keep it raised is reduced, it will fall like a stone. With Position Control the implement will only fall as far as you move the lever. As to not falling, have you checked the position of the Response Lever (by your right heel)? Sometimes if set to slow it may prevent a light implement falling. If it is in fast and will still not fall then perhaps you have a pump problem. If you have an isolating valve fitted at the front right hand side of the hydraulic cover make sure it is in the linkage position.
