I have a great 101jr, but I have been having a problem with keeping it cool... Runs great, but temp climbs over 200 deg after a while.. have great flow from the pump..., just rod'ed out the radiator and had it completely redone thinking that it was plugged up. Checked the cylinder for air by pumping into it with a air hose and no bubles.... At the end of my guessing game... Anybody have any idea's?

Maybe you have a bad gauge. Or, as long as it the coolant doesn't boil out, maybe there is no need to worry about it?? A good antifreeze in your system will keep from boiling over at about 230 or better degrees.

How about the radiator cap? Is it in good shape?

Just something to think about. I probably had the same radiator in my 101 Senior, and I couldn't get mine warm enough to run well. Maybe you have some engine coolant passages plugged up???
