Hi,

Looks like we have negotiated a deal on this MF 135 w loader.

The first things I am looking for are an Owner's Manual and a temp guage.

I noticed that Yesterday's Tractor Co. does sell a reprint of the Owner's Manual and parts for the MF 135.

I would appreciate hearing comments from anyone who has purchased a manual from them.

Cheers,
Richard

I got my temperature gauge at TSC. They have two models - one with a metal covered 6-foot tube, and one with a 3 foot rubber covered tube. Get the rubber covered 3 footer and it should work fine.

I know from experience that there are at least two different versions of the owner's manual. I you have a Continental gas engine the manual version for the Perkins gas engine is less than useful and visa versa. Probably if you have a diesel, either version will work well.

Don't know about today, but in 1987 when I bought my 135 it came with the wrong manual and I got a well printed copy of the correct manual directly from MF. In those days the manuals came out of Racine and I bought a parts manual too which is also very handy. Your MF dealer should be able to direct you to a quality manual.

After market manuals from epay on CD have been the wrong books generally. I don't know about the manuals on YT. If they don't notice the difference between the gas engines they are probably bad manuals.
