Mechanical gauge along right side verifies the problem. Tach says 1900 hrs, but I"m not the original owner. Any suggestions before I open her up? Fresh oil change didn"t do anything. OK when cold, goes away when warm to almost nothing. Is there any external adjustments?Thanks in advance.

You could have a stuck open relief valve or a worn pump but worn main bearings could also be the cause.

Do you have the proper oil filter installed. I run into a couple of filter companies Fram comes to mind that had the wrong filter for that engine when intalled it causes the condition your speaking of. I take it the oil pressure was fine before you changed the oil.
