150 Constant Pumping Linkage

I'm confused, my 150 position control lever cover is stamped with up/down toward the rear of the tractor, with a adjustable stop in the forward section of the cover. Forward section is stamped constant pumping at the high point of the cover then high pressure and low pressure toward the front.

I removed the lift cover thinking that I had pressure control but it looks like the dashpot and pressure control has been removed and pluged. There is a linkage pin within the lift cover showing that something has been on it but now gone.

Question: Do I have constant pumping without the missing parts? Would the port be on the side of the lift cover if I have it? At this time, I can't try anything because the tractor is completly torn apart. Before taking it apart the position control did hold at different settings.

Thanks for any help, just wondering at this point.

Oh, that's nasty. It is possible to remove the PRESSURE CONTROL section and revert to a 'normal' one with a relief valve in the pump. Perhaps a little difficult to say whether you will have CONSTANT PUMPING but I would think so. Also it is likely that you will have maximum pressure available irrespective of the position of the lever in the PC quadrant.

David P, Thanks for your present as well as past reply. This is off Topic, but here goes.

My Great,Great Grandfather was born in Tregaron, Cardiganshire, South Wales on July 12, 1832. He moved his family to Perry County, Ohio, USA around 1872. There must be lots of clans with the Jenkins Sir Name in your neck of the woods.

Hello Tom,
Very interesting. We are more South Wales, Tregaron would be classed as more Mid Wales. Yes of course Jenkins is a very popular name. Any plans to visit one day?
