I bought a 1956 MH 50 and was told the original colors were red sheet metal and gold chassis. What color gold would be appropriate, and what color are the wheels supposed to be? Also, is Massey Ferguson red the right shade? Thanks in advance for any help. Doorman

Mr. Hires is wrong. I have a Massey Harris 50 and the colors are for sure red and gold. I have the paint codes, but it will take a couple of days for me to find them. But I will and send them to you. My 50 is beautiful. I know that the colors are red and gold, because I worked for Massey when they made the 50. I was 18 years old at the time. Basil

The MH 333 & 444 are the only tractors with a Bronze color listing. The code for this is Dupont Bronze Centari Enamel 5054A, or 69 GM Saddle Metallic.
The MH Dupont Red -Centari Enamel Code is 674DH, or 018. MH Red -Dulux Enamel Code is 42942AH.
MH Dupont Yellow-Dulux Enamel Code is 29440.
Martin Senour Codes are MH Red L-7947, Late MH Yellow 99L-4341, MH 333 & 444 Bronze 99L-5420.
There are Sherman Williams and Ditzler Codes; also.
