Hello,

I broke a part for my three point hitch on my MF165 SN# CDW543019634 and I cannot seem to find the replacement part anywhere! You know the two forked pieces, one on each side of the seat that cause the 3pt impliments to lift up and down, I'm not sure exactly what they are called, but there is a hole that is about 3" big that slips onto a 3" finely toothed rod. This rod rotates making the forked piece rotate up and down making the arms attached to them behind raise up and down.

ANYWAY hopefully I didnt confuse you, but I broke the one on the left if you are sitting in the seat facing forward. Its right behind my left hand. THe part number on this particular piece is 897577M1 and also has 17328C JGSB written on it. Anyone know where I could locate one? And... maybe confirm my year dating on this tractor? Best I can come up with is a 1967 but a couple numbers dont match exactly... thats just the closest one.

Thanks!

Wher are you located? I would try a local MF dealer. The 165 is a popular tractor and they would most likley have what you need.

If all else fails there are two in Chilton,Wi.
They show unpriced at the moment. Must be ordered
thru a dealer. Also the part number that replaced
the no. you gave is 885 446M91 but at Chilton they
are under the old number. Chuck

Sounds like you broke a "rockshaft arm" that fits on the splined 'rod' which is the rockshaft. Here's a link, $145, might call to be sure it's the right one. Also, check THIS site to see if they sell one(Parts, left side ).
