I have a MF 202 that has no oil preasure (and since the gauge at the time was not working, now a knock.)

First question would be if anyone knows what other brands of tractors came with the Z134 Continental motor. We don't have a Massey dealer in my area, but there is a few others. At least getting bearings and oil pumps some what localy would be a little bit nicer. (I would buy from here by they don't ship to Canada)

Next would be thoughts on where to start looking? I am going to pull the pan off and see about cleaning stuff up, but any clues on what could fail to loose oil preasure? When I checked the filter it didn't even look like it was 1/2 full of oil.

Don't know about a GAS engine, but for the desiel MF203, it normally shows main bearing wear and an engine that needs a rebuild. Good news is that when done.... boy does it run like a champ!!

I had a similar problem with an Allis Chalmers B this spring. The oil pump had lost it's prime. The oil pumps that you and I have are in different places though, the one on the Allis is mounted high up on the block behind the flywheel and I think the Massey is probably in a differrent place, maybe even in the oil pan area. Nevertheless, even that kind of pump can lose it's prime. Maybe someone here will help you out.
