MH50 3pt lift control valve lever

I bought a MH50 and the 3pt lift would not raise.
When I removed the right inspection plate, I discovered that the vertical levers were not even in the same plane as the control valve lever. They are supposed to move the control valve lever rearward by pushing on the roller at its top, but the vertical levers are a good inch to the right of the control valve lever. When I move the position and draft levers, the vertical levers do indeed move rearward, but they don't contact the control valve lever's roller because of being offset to the right at least an inch.
From the side cover view, nothing appears loose or bent.
The lift will raise when I manually move the control valve lever rearward, so the hydraulics appear to be ok.

Anyone have any idea how this could be ? Could the top cover have been replaced with a later model cover whose vertical levers are farther right ?
I have not removed the top cover yet, but I'm not sure that will reveal anything more than I can see through the side cover.

The vertical levers and the bracket they go through do not appear loose or bent.
I have no idea what to do at this point.
Anyone heard of this before ?

Thanks,
Jim Wright

Hi JW

Is the roller at the correct side of the control lever ? You may remove the roller pass the control arm and reinstall the roller. Someone may had reinstalled the roller wrong side of the arm.

When I reinstall the roller I put a very fine wire
(one stripped conductor of telephone wire 2 ft long) in one of the slots of the roller after the roller is reinstalled I remove the wire. This is a safety in case I accidentally drop the roller inside the diff case.

Is it possible that one of the pump locating dowel pins has broken and allowed the pump to shift to one side? If you reach in, can you wiggle the pump around at all? Just something else to check...
