I am looking for the remote hyd valve for a 44 special standard. Mine is missing. This is a different valve than what is on a row crop tractor with the mounted cylinder. I know it also is not the same as a 55. Any help in locating one would be appreciated. I have valves I can put on in place of it but I am looking for the original one.

Is this valve that mounts on top of the geabox in front of the shifter? If so, do you have a block off plate in its place? My buddy has a 44 special gas standard he uses for pulling and he wants to remove that valve assembly at some point.

Mine has that block off plate on it. It appears that mine had the valve mounted further back around the seat because of the hoses that are there. If it is an original valve and works, I can use that style as well. I have to look at my old manual again on what ports are plugged off on the trans top cover for the different valves.
