I am repairing the backhoe portion of this tractor and the rotary/swing cylinder is leaking and I also need to know if the swing part of the backhoe has bushings or bearings My service manual list them as ball bushings? There are no Massey dealers in my area and I need a to find somewhere to locate these parts. If anyone knows of A Massey dealer or any other location that doesn't mind trying to locate parts for these machines would you please e mail the phone number.

Hi Dee, The loader and backhoe would have their
own model and s/n. The most common backhoe on the
30 would be the 54 or 54 S. If it is one of these
the seal kit is 836002M92 and the lower swing Brg.
is 833809M3. The book possibly generalizes. Some
early model 30's could have had a 222 etc backhoe
in which case the early ones had a bushing setup,
and later a bearing, and the early ones had change-
over kits to convert. I'm not 100% sure but i think I recall owners just dropping the lower plate on the swing cyl and putting individual seal
parts. Kit was expensive. Be sure to check model-
s/n before ordering. Any Agco dealer can order-
Poss brg ordered from Brg co by MF part no. Chuck
