MF 35 23c Glow Plugs

Hi all

I am in the process of rebuilding a MF 35 with the 23c engine and want to add glow plugs for obvious reasons. I either want to get a new head with glow plugs or if its possible retro fit some in to my current head.

Ive heard that the Allis Chalmers ED-40 was fitted the the 23c with glow plugs is the correct?? what other applications was this engine used in ??

Could nay one point me the the right direction of a good maintaince/manual for one

Any information would be very helpful has i know very little about this tractors

It is possible to retrofit, a guy in the township where I live has done it by carefull measureing of the head from an Austin Diesel lorry. The Allis Chalmers ED40 has the same motor as well. He drilled and tapped the head for glow plugs.
