I have an MF Super 90 that did this....yes, it will be the fuel lift pump diaphragm. I just put a new lift pump on and problem solved.

The newest it could be is a 1975. Production of 150's ended in '75. The 150 has the very same Perkins AD3-152 as the 135. Lift pump diaphrams go bad. 3 things can happen. One is an external fuel leak. 2nd is it can suck air through the leaky diaphram. 3rd is fuel leaking into the engine, ending up in the oil pan. In a vast majority of cases, when fuel shows up in the pan, it's the lift pump causing the problem. If it's the original Perkins lift pump, get a rebuild kit from AGCO/MF. They're a snap to rebuild. Then bleed the system and go back to work. Aftermarket pumps are just a few bucks more than the kit. All in all, the rebuild is as easy changing the pump, but neither is very difficult or time consuming.

Here's my 150. Lift pump went south on it just over a year ago. It was drawing air, causing injector pump to air lock. Never leaked internally. Pump rebuild kit was around $20 if I remember correctly. Took all of 20 minutes to rebuild. About that long to bleed system. Problem solved.

Hi,
WHAT A CRACKER!!!!!

If you rebuild the lift pump don't forget to hold the lever down as the cover screws are tightened. If not the diaphragm may flex unevenly in use.
Cheers

Not very familar with the MF150, but does it have a camshaft driven lift pump? If it does it will be the kind that has a little lever for manually pumping. These pumps often develop an internal leak because of the diaphram gone bad. Choice is to rebuild or just get a new pump. Post back and let us know. Tom

Take old lift pump apart and look at diaphram for cracks. In future, don't start spending big money for things like the injection pump without knowing for sure what is wrong. The component "change out" method of repair can get very expensive. Odds are very high that your old injection pump was in good shape. Tom

Mickey,
Not sure about the 150 but on my MF180 it was the lift pump on the other side of the engine.Big Dean said it will be the problem 90% of the time.Worked for me,good luck with yours.
Jim
