Hi. I have an MF 1135. The hydraulics have always been slow on it. I recently mounted a front end loader onto it, and it is slow to lift and won"t lift any amount of weight. I connected a flow meter to the couplers and it is putting out about 5 gals/min and running about 1500 lbs while the factory aux spool valve is in lift position while connected to the flow meter. However, while the factory aux spool valve is in lift position, and is showing 5 gals per min at 1500 psi, if you go to lift the loader now at the same time, the pressure will spike to 3000lbs. It acts as if the main pump isn"t going into full stroke, but why would the pressure hold steady at 1500 lbs while the factory spool is in the lift position with the flow meter connected, and then spike to 3000 psi if you go to lift the loader? The hyd oil seems to get hot too if you operate the tractor for a few hours, hotter than I would consider normal. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so, what did it turn out to be? Thanks for your help!

I had the same issue on the 1130. Ours ended up being the charge pump under the platform. The other possibility is the main radial pump on the front crankshaft of the engine. Many times the small metal disk inside will move or fall out of the springs causing a drop in pressure. Either way, neither one is cheap.

Well, just to follow up...I took the main radial pump out and tore it apart. It has definitely got some wear on it. The check valve is damaged and one of the seats was hairline cracked. It won't pay to repair ir for sure, so I am getting a reman pump and will put it in. I will keep you posted on the results. Thanks!
