1967 150 Gauge Lights

While I am waiting for the block to return from the machine shop, I deceided to work on the wiring. After searching the site, found two different voltages for output of inverter for gauge lights, 125 and 250 volts AC. I checked mine with a digital meter and no output. Then checked with a analog meter and only 25v AC. Looks like a problem here. What is the correct voltage? Thinking taking another route for gauge lights.

I think the one I changed in our 1100 was 250 volts supply, you should be able to find something that will work, think chrysler used something like that for a while, those guages sure look great when they work, nice green glow....
