I would appreciate "any" information or assistance in helping me identify this old Massey I bought a number of years ago.
I was told it was a 700 series Work Bull, does this sound about right?

The tractor runs well. I had the head rebuilt two years ago, other than that she's pretty much all original.....I think.

Thanks in advance!

I"ve got a 1961 Workbull 205. Diesel engine with instant reverse transmission. MF 200 Front Loader, MF 220 Back Hoe Attachment, with 3-point, no PTO, yellow paint.

I agree with the other posts - I worked for Massey Ferguson in the '60s. If it was yellow, it was industrial. Red for farm, yellow for industrial. Many orchardists bought the 202-203 Work Bulls because of the extra heavy front end. The running gear was the same as the red ones.

I just bought an old MF 204 Industrial.
Power steering is dry and tractor won't move forward or reverse. Automatic pedal.
My guess, since tractor has been sitting, is that it needs serviced. Where do I service and what are specs on the oils. Thanks

Thanks for the assistance and info on Big D's website!
Any idea how much a tractor like this is worth "if" I decide to put it up for sale?

Sounds more like the 200 series, as in 202/203/204/205. The difference in the numbers is gas vs. diesel/shuttle vs. manual trans. Yours sounds like a 204, go see Big Deans website, it'll set you straight on all things Massey Industrial. I've got a 202-gas man. trans. with front end loader and 3pt, does a good job for me. Built to take it.

Sorry for not being more specific regarding some of the particulars!
The tractor is yellow in color. It has a heavy duty , commercial style front end loader, really strong. It has an hydrostatic shift transmission and a 4 cyl. gas engine.

Once again, any info would be appreciated!
