Ok, First thanks to Bill for his reply on paint.

I have the front axle assy. hanging on my overhead rail hoist. I need to replace the axle pivot bushings. Looks simple enough, but stuck real quickly. I tried to remove the two flathead allen bolts retaining the plate, but it is really tight. I'm afraid of rounding the hex or my new 1/4" allen wrench. I tried to catch the edge of the bolt with a chisel and hammer, but just eating away at the bolt. Any ideas?

I have an operators and shop manual for the tractor, waiting on a parts manual.

Much more to ask as I try to rebuild this unit.

Thanks, Tom

Well, I got it!!!!! Propane torch with mapp gas didn't do it. Had to get the oxy/acl set out. Also the four bracket bolts were the same way. I heated the casting and loose they came. All of the bolts were loctighted in place. Wow, those bushings are sure thin. Parts book shows them as only having a .062" wall.

Sure will be glad when I start putting things back togeather instead of tearing it apart.
More questions to come.

Thanks for reply.
