I am nearing the finish of a restoration but am having difficulties locating a few parts. My tractor leaks gear oil pretty much everywhere. I can not find the outside axle seals anywhere. also am wondering if all I have to do is take the wheel/hub off and those 4 bolts on that end cap, will I be able to pull the seal out and pound in a new one?

Also leaking oil by both brakes. what is all involved in taking that right hand side brake assembly off for they both leak at the gasket between the brake housings and the transmission housing. The right brake does not work. the pedal moves but the rod on that goes into the housing seems to be stuck. where do i start since I will have that assembly off anyway?

Also leaking oil out of the side belt pulley seal. same as the axle can I just take that cap off and put in the new seal?

I am having trouble finding these parts and am not really sure where to start and what to get. I would also like to find a reproduction grill screen. any help at all would be very appreciated. please respond with any knowledge or advice from someone who has replaced these seals/gaskets before. And any leads on where to get parts. I have limited access to the internet so email would be the perfered method of contact but please also post on here. again THANKS alot!

When I restored my 44 RC I got the seals at NAPA!! Not sure if we cross referenced the nuymber off the old seals or measured them but I did find them at NAPA! Yes just take the outside cap off.

If I remember right the seals are in the cap and easily replaced! Its been awhiule since I did it but if I remeber right I coated the axle with stp before I slid the seals over it so it would slide over it without knicking the seal!
