I"m restoring an MF65 Diesel and notice there are two different clutch discs, organic and Ferric that cost dramatically different prices.

I will probably only use this tractor a couple hundred hours a year and I"m wondering if the Ferric disc is really work the extra $200. Is the difference between them in performance or durability. Any experience with this out there?

i'm not sure if it's the same as "ceramic" disk, but generally ceramic disks are used in high power models. The last much longer if not abused, but the downside is that 1) they are harder to control with slipping the clutch and 2) the really can't take much slipping before they "glass" out and start to slip constantly. For normal use around the property i'd take the normal disk anyday.
