The engine would be a 4 212 Perkins. They are a good tractor. I've run one with a loader on it. Very nice unit. The power steering pump had to be replaced on the one I used but otherwise it was a good solid machine. Dave

I have a 79 30B desiel. The manual says the gas motor puts out 41 hp. Most were 4 range speed - shuttle shift. They were popular grading machines even as they got older. I don't know about the gas engine, tnough.

Hi Steve the MF30 is an Industrial version of the farm MF165. They have a little heavier front axle and most of them have one or the other of the industrial shuttle shift transmissions. Email me if I can be of further help
