My pony does not have an oil filter. It is one of the early models. I understand there was a kit Massey made available for these models. Does anyone have any info on how these were installed and where I might find one, even a used one? Any info would be appreciated.

Don't know about kit. Couldn't you buy a filter housing and do the plumbing yourself.

Hi
Your Pony has been running for 50 odd years without a filter why put one on now? The type they used is not a full flow filter anyway so not all the oil gets filtered anyway.

This "51 has an oil filter canister. I never heard that they didn"t come with it. I can send yo a picture of what it looks like if you need it. NAPA Gold #1010 is what fits the best.

It is not the filter, it is the filter housing and plumbing that I am talking about. Thanks.
