I just replaced my ole 9N with a MF 150. I need to do some cleanup and repairs but it leaks too bad to run it. Previous owned said "inverted flare fitting is cracked" on the power steering line. Well I had to buy a heavy duty tubing wrench to even get the thing loose. NOT an inverted flare. Found a cut o-ring in the seat. I replaced the o-ring with two different cross section sizes, but it still leaks bad.

Any help will be appreciated, I am new to MF.

I will be back for lots of questions.

BTW, I have ordered manuals.

I assume the leaking (inverted flare)is steel which I have seen with a fine line crack next to the beginning of the flare.I would consider replacing the fitting it gos into. The nut that holds the flare could also be distorted (out of round).CENTAUR

It is NOT an inverted flare. Just a small o-ring seats in the power steering cyl. No fitting in cyl. The line nut screws into the cyl.I removed it (line) again and the line is cracked just above the line seat.

I have been to tractor parts sites, but can"t find a listing for the line on my 150. Dealer only????? ????

Thanks for the reply.
