Been 25 years since I worked on one so my mind may be a bit fuzzy. The PTO should have somewhere near 200-250 pounds of pressure. I believe there is a dump vale inside the clutch housing to release pressure to the live PTO when you push the transmission foot lever all the way down. It is possible this valve is stuck out from very little use and causing the low pressure light to come on. You may be able to pull the inspcetion plate off the bottom the the clutch housing and see if that is the case. If the valve does not go in after fully depressing the foot clucth, you may be able to 'persuade' it back some, or else split at clutch. Obivously, run too long on low pressure and PTO cluctch may need rebuilding and you split that behind the tranny for rebuild.
