Just picked up an MF30 Industrial with an MF34 loader. Seems to work well, but would like to track down the year of manufacture. It has a Perkins AD4-203 engine. I cannot find any plate on the tractor itself with a serial number, but the tractor has been resprayed and it might be painted over. Where on the unit should the plate be?

It should be on the dash somewhere. It would be an early to mid 70's machine. I worked at a golf course that had one they bought new with the 212 gas engine. Very good loader with selective self level and a good bucket level indicator. Look where the cable for the indicator rubs on the cross member. It may need to be built up with weld and filed or ground smooth as the cable will wear a groove in the steel. Dave
