Anyone out there have any real world experience with either of these tractors?

I have been looking at both models lately at my MF dealer as well as some of the orange "K" models.

The 533 is the current designation of last years 431, the current derivitive of the original TO-35.

I need a tractor that will pull a 6 foot bush hog through just about anything (brome grass laying down is about the toughest that I have found) as fast as the mower will cut it.

I do this now with a very good 1955 Ford 860 gasser and two MF 35s with 152 CI Perkins diesels but sometimes not as fast as I would like.

The 533/431 has the Perkins 3 cylinder now expanded to 202 CI yet it is rated at 44 PTO HP about the same as the later versions of the 152 CI engine.

I have been told that this is due to close fuel metering mandated by emissions regulations. I have also been told that these new engines will not lug as do the older engines for the same reason.

Anyone out there have any insight? I will not buy either one of these tractors without more info, and my schedule and that of my MF dealer does not permit me to try them out in real world conditions.

Thanks in advance.
