Massey 35 front axle

I have a massey 35 that the front axle seems a litte loose at the center hinge point.I have not taken it apart yet to see how it is built.Is there a bushing or replacable pin? can not find anything about it on this site. Thanks for any help.

Hello,
Yes the pin and bush are replaceable. Despite what it may appear as there is only ONE bush fitted to the axle centrepiece. If the mounting is worn the bush can be tack-welded in place. This is normally satisfactory. Keep the new one well greased.

FYI,
According to my repair manual, it says never to lubricate that bushing. And doing so will allow dirt to accumulate and accelerate the wear.
