Hi,this is my first time to post a message.
I haven't used my 35 for about six months and now the lift lever for the 3pl is really stiff to opperate. It has always been very free until now. the linkage is all working fine.
Can anyone please shed some light on this problem.
Thanks, Leigh

Try lubricating the linkage.

There doesn't seem to be a problem with the linkage. It all operates well and is lubricated. It is the operational (lift/lower) lever that is stiff. It's stiff to the point where it's difficult to move. I have used a penetrant spray on the lever with zero success. It feels like the problem is further inside the housing. I also recently purchased a 135 that has a moderately stiff lever so I figure that this may be a common problem.

Hi,
If the lever is stiff to move and the spring loaded damper washers on the lever are lubricated and free then the problem is likely to be where the outer tube (Position Lever) enters the inner end of the support from the quadrant. This is at the point where the support enters the lift cover.
Try and work penetrating oil (spray) into it and be patient it may take a while. Failing that you will need to remove the hydraulic cover and remove the support. The support cannot be removed without removing the screw that holds it in place. This can only be done with the cover removed.
