Don't Use FRAM!! Your MF does not deserve that. Here are part numbers for MF 35 Cyl Perky Spin on oil filters.

MF 1447082M1
AC PF2205
WIX 51460

Hope this helps.

Ric1, I have a 1964 MF-35 manufactured in Coventry with the Perkins diesel and I went to NAPA. They had it listed in their catalog, it's a NAPA GOLD filter, part number 1188. I don't know where are located but if O'Reilly auto parts stores are in your area, they also have them but I don't remember the part number.

Steve, my 165 Perkins diesel had CAV (Lucas) fuel filters. CAV not really available these days, so contacted my friendly Caterpillar dealer (Cat now own Perkins) gave them the CAV number and they were able to marry it to a Cat part and also to a Baldwin filter. The dealer had both in stock, I took the Baldwin as they were only $4 Oz money about $3.20 each for you.
Baldwin is large USA manufacturer, go to web www.baldwinfilter.com and find nearest dealer. The dealer will be able to match what you have. I have also fitted a spin on oil filter adaptor for engine oil. The adaptor takes a very standard filter, in fact it is the same as an old 6 cyl Ford I had and also same as filter on my current Toyota 4WD.

Rick, Too bad you are so far away from your MF dealer. We ordered deisil fuel filters for a 165 and it took about 3 days to get them. I am about 4 mi. from our dealer and pick up parts for my friend who is 25 mi away. NAPA should be able to get them or have them in stock. Call ahead and see if they are in stock or have to be ordered.
