I have a lead on a 7"disc, do you think Id be able to use it on the 30? Any of you use a disc on a 30?

Thanks,
Steve

Many years ago we pulled a 10' Keewanee (sp) with a MH 33. In a pinch the MH30 was used, but wasn't quite enough horse or weight to do a good job unless it was set kind of shallow.

Dr.Chris;

Not sure what tractor you have. A 7"single gang disk should be no problem. A 2 gang disk would make the front end pretty lite and would be difficult to pull in soft ground.I assume the disk is for the 3ph.

We pulled a 12"3ph single disk starting with a TE20 and later a TO30. Good luck and be carefull.

We will assume he was correct,He said MH30 not Toy30.He should be able to pull a 7-8Ft.disk easy except for maybe traction in poor conditions.

massey333;

I did some further research on the MH30 and that is the right tractor. My post evidently didnt go thru. Be careful how you spell TO30. I grew up with Fergusons. 1st.a TE-20 and then the TO-30. Also spent alot of time one summer on a MH 44 on propane. Oh well, I have trouble spelling too.

play safe and have fun.

I didn't have trouble spelling,a TO30 is a "TOY"to a MH30.

I'm going to look at it tomorrow, it's a 3pt so it might make the front to light. I didn't think it'd have any trouble with it, I have a 2 bottom trailer plow it rips through the ground with ease.
