Part number for Massey Harris Mustang oil filter

I haven"t used this old girl for quite a while so I"m changing the oil and filter first. The filter that came out is an AC P-203 but none of my local auto parts stores have anything that cross references to that. Anyone know another number? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Thanks for the help guys. I tried 3 or 4 different auto parts stores(Auto Zone, Carquest,etc.)before trying here. None of them had any cross reference for an AC P-203 so I have to rule out lazy. I'll get either a Fram or NAPA based on massey333's experience just to be sure. Thanks for the help. Hope I can return the favor some day.

You must have dealt with some LAZY parts guys!

AC P203 ... WIX # 51010 (A COMMON cartridge filter)

HOWEVER; by application; WIX says a Massey Mustang uses a WIX # 51080.

The 51080 is a little taller than the 51010.

Bob,I won't disagree completely with you,,but WIX is the poorest excuse for a replacement filter company for the old AC or Fram cartrage cans there is.What they say fits doesn't even come close at times,even when you have the old filter in your hands and they don't furnish all the gaskets needed either.So don't always blame the parts man if WIX is involved.
