I got a T020 Massy Harris with seral number T0-52141 reading about the T020 tractors with the Z120 Cont. eng and there history. I was told it was a 1957 but now im not sure. Im wondering if someone could shine some light on this. Is it a 52 model because of the 52 in the sereal number or maybe a 41 because of the last numbers? Any help on this matter?

Thanks guys for all your help 1951 or 1952 FERGUSION is ok for me. I will have fun restoring it either way. Not finished yet but she sure is looking good. Might post a picture of it when finished. But the die hard FERGUSION guys might not like my paint colors. The solid GRAY just dont do it for me. Besides it ant the color we are restoring it the OLD TRACTOR.

Dan S (NY) Thank you for your reply. How did you come up with 51? The reason i said Harris was the ID plate has Harry Fergusion Inc., maybe all of them have this? It also has mgf. in Detroit Mich. so it is american made. If they are all T020 then what is the good and bad points of being a Massy Harris vs being a Massy Fergusion. Is it a value thing? Thanks Michael in Tenn.

Your Ferguson is neither a Massy Harris nor a Massy Ferguson. It is just a "Ferguson" TO20 As JJ said, the TO20 Ferguson was built before the merger of Massy Harris and Harry Ferguson which would then eventually become Massey Ferguson.

Have fun!
Dan

Ferguson TO20's were built prior to the merger with Massey...1948-1951. if you look on the left of this page under ser.#'s you will find your TO20 under Ferguson. 1951 TO20's ran from 39163 to 60000 HTH..... JJ.

Its not a Massey Harris. Sounds like you have a 1951 Ferguson TO20 based on your serial number.
