Does anyone have any information about the elusive Massey Harris I-330 Navy tractor? It has the Continental 330 cu in engine (same as the old MH 203)but that is about all I know. Need any information about history, use, locations of others, manuals, etc would be appreciated.

Thanks

From the info I have on Massey tractors it says there were six of them made for the navy in 1954.Price was miltary contract no dollar figures listed.Color is unknown.Refer to massey 203 for engine details. It lists nothing else pertaining to the tractor.Serial numbers are 1001 to 1006.Model is MH-I-330-G.Would be nice to see one restored if they all have not gone to the scrap yard.It is a shame to see how much of the old collectables go to the scrap yard.

The massey harris I-330 was actually built for navy use. There were 6 built in 1954 and after their use in the navy one guy bought all 6 of them. He then kept one and scrapped the other 5. The one he kept is serial number 1004. it was just sold earlier this month at the Larry weber estate auction in Yuma AZ. nobody really knew what it was excecpt for a few people and the people that knew what it was let the guy bidding on it have it with out much other bidding. it is now in indiana and as far as I know it will be restored.
The tractor itself was a 55 or 555 rear end and frame with a continental 330 C.I. engine. I am unsure what color it originally was but it is now a indutrial yellow color which could possibly be the original color. I have pictures of it and if you want to see them give me an email.
