I have a 1956 Massey 333 tricycle front end that shimmeys gong down the road. It has factory power steering. Their is a inspection hole in the front of the casting that goes down to the spindles. I can put my finger on the shaft comming out of the gear box and move the spindle it dosen't feel like there is any play in the gear box. Is there a coupling in the shaft between the gear box and the spindles? I removed the three bolts that hold the gear box in place but it would not come loose. I removed all the bolts that hold the front houseing to the frame. I can not get them to seperate. It looks like there is one more bolt gear box in the front but there is no way to get to the head. Is it a dowl pin? If anyone can help or has a break down of the front end of this tractor with factory power steering please let me know?
