I"m going to try one more time. Did anyone on this forum who lives in the Terre Haute, Indiana area buy a 44 from Monte Lucas about 8 years ago + or -. I sold it to Monte in 1983 and am now living in the Terre Haute area. I would love to see it again or possibly buy it. I owned and used it on the farm from 1972 to 1983. I sold it at my farm sale. It was a late 1954 model 44 with char-lynn power steering, no 3 pt. and had the hand clutch type of live pto. The book and serial # info went with the tractor. Sorry for the long post. Thanks Jim

The only one around that area that I know about is about 1 mile east of the Great Dane trailer plant at Brazil, Indiana. That's on US 40 and the tractor is on the south side of the road, somewhat behind a house. This tractor looks like it has a super six loader on it, so it might not be yours.

earthmasterk: I tried to buy that one but the old guy won"t sell it. It hasn"t moved in over six years that I know of, maybe longer. Don"t know how bad of shape it is in but has to have problems. There is acollectoe on sr 46 between sr 59 and I 70 overpass. He couldn"t help either. I was just hoping that it was someone who used this forum. Thanks Jim
