Where are the plugs for draining the oil (no power steering) on the 35?
What oil should I use? Thanks.

I know they are different, but I removed the side off my MF65's box and used brake cleaner and a long screwdriver to get the stuff out. 40 some year old gear oil was a semi solid and had to be removed mechanically. I pulled the side cover and there was a perfect impression of the sideplate in the lube. Then ever so slowly, it fell out in chunks. Everywhere it landed, it grew. The brake cleaner dripping down made a huge mess. I had to dispose of a bunch of soil from that spot due to the oil and the cleaner. I doubt mine had ever been changed but I was still able to reuse the old gasket. I'd advise a large catch pan and a lot of junk rags.

I tried to go back and edit my post but it would not let me, so here goes.

The goo on the back of the case and coming out of the bearings is the old lube. It had to be pulled out by screwdriver where I could reach and dissolved with brake cleaner everywhere I could not. I was almost done in this pic, but you can see I had more work to do.

Hi,If you have the UK type box, there aren't any.
You have two options, remove the side cover, not practical! Or remove the filler plug and insert a plastic pipe and use some means of sucking the oil out. You will get most of it out this way.
Replace with EP 85/90 gear oil.
