Hi, Does anyone know if the wide front from a 55 MH will fit under a 30? Also, the 55 has the wide pattern 5 bolt cast hubs. Will the hubs from the 30 narrow front fit on the 55 spindles?
Thanks for any input.
Larry

I know where a wide front model 81 parts tractor is. It should fit and would have the right steering linkage. My buddy took the steering box off the nose of this tractor and used it on his 44.

Yes the front end WOULD bolt on..you`d have no way to steer it though .30-44 wide fronts had gearbox up front..55s gearbox mounted to trans. housing by the fuel tank....wheels no swap either.
Need a wide front from a 30-44 and the gearbox too.

only thing i can tell you for sure is a 44 with steel rims will fit on a 44 special with cast centers. i know it don't help with your change but i would try it or a 44 might do the trick
